Ensure quality services provision by HSC and Planning, supervision and follow up of 
the HSC activities
Follow up of the approved implementation plan and provide specific plan for each HSC.
Provide technical support to the staff through day-to-day supervision of the HSC supported areas.
Provide written forwards ways/solutions & recommendation for the improvement of the weak areas 
as identified during supervision
Identify the areas where staff need to build their capacity and facilitate capacity building for them.
Analyze HSC activities and proposed solution when needed
Coordinate with the community leaders where the HSC provide services
providing support for management, administration and Management of supply of the 
HSC
Ensure the daily, weekly and monthly consumption are in line with distribution protocols and 
track/update the consumptions in the existing tools
Provide/update the monthly consumption of medicine and nutritional supply in the existing 
pharmacy database and share with implementing partner/ line manager
Conduct meetings with HSC staff and implementing partner if needed, share the key points with 
PM
Capacitate team members in the rules of hygiene, prescriptions and medical supervision
Ensure correct data is provided on weekly and on monthly basis
Participate to the APR and provide relevant information to the APRs.
Develop success story of the project for donor requirement and submit to line manager.
Ensure staff prepared the reports (Daily, Weekly and monthly) according to the standard reporting 
tools.

Health and Nutrition Supervisor

Medair

•	Explaining the program to the village leaders and general community prior to carrying out activities.
•	Collect, review, and submit required daily, weekly and monthly reports.
•	Carry out required quality checks according to provided checklists.
•	Ensure the functionality of feedback mechanism and AAP from beneficiaries.
•	Ensure all staff in the mobile health and nutrition team is following the national guidelines and organizational protocols.
•	Liaison with community leaders in the assigned areas to facilitate good working relations and community acceptance and participation in the project.
•	Provide daily oversight and supervision of all activities at the assigned mobile team locations using monitoring check lists. 
•	Coordinate staff check patient flow and organize the team and the site efficiently and according to quality standards.
•	Oversee the implementation of the, OPD SAM and MAM services and IYCF services and community components of IMAM and IYCF at the assigned mobile team locations, following national guidelines and protocols.
•	Assist with supervision and on-the-job training of nutrition and BCC staff and community health workers involved in the program.
•	Establish a work plan for the mobile health and nutrition Team (MHNT) activities and provide daily oversight and supervision.
•	Liaise with Government and other partners providing health and nutrition services in the same location
•	Attend Province & district level nutrition related meetings if required
•	Assist in mapping of villages and communities that have poor access to health and nutrition services.
•	In collaboration with the Health & Nutrition Manager establish referral pathways to health facilities, Pediatrics inpatient facility and IPD SAM services 
•	Provide feedback to the Health & Nutrition PM and Health & Nutrition Technical Manager on community specific challenges and barriers.

Save the Children International

•	Explaining the program to the village leaders and general community prior to carrying out activities.
•	Team leader (Monitor/Manager), responsible for all tasks related to the team service delivery.
•	Responsible for team plan movement and ensuring all service package components of the MHNT are delivered.
•	 Especifically responsible for adult and under five-year medical consultation and nutrition service package and supported by the two health extension workers.
•	Responsible for all quarterly supplies related issues (In/Out & stock balance) & timely flag of shortage.
•	Attending necessary meetings within the MHNT during emergencies, planning, responding, and monitoring.
•	Ensuring other team members are doing correct tally, recording, registering, and filling.
•	Verifying, compiling and sharing complete timely reports to Coordinator and regional data manger.
•	Early communicating any shortfalls (programmatic and administrative issues with community gatekeepers and villagers.
•	Making a comprehensive registration system for nutrition unit.
•	Accurately measuring and recording MUAC, weights, heights, and lengths of the beneficiaries according to the nutrition criteria.
•	Preparing nutrition counseling to client as per MoPH nutrition guideline or policy.
•	Calculating RUTF and other medical supplies (Vitamin A, Mebendazole, Amoxicillan, etc.) to malnourished children and give on weekly basis
•	Following up of malnourished children if they don’t center through CHW.
•	Reporting Weekly & Monthly to line Manager 
•	Filling the IMAM report template on monthly basis and reporting to Save the children interationl 
•	Submiting relevant forms at the end of each day and restock field supplies as necessary.
•	Fully implementing the IMAM guideline.
•	Checking the stock make consumption report and requesting for new supplies.
•	Maintaining all equipment in good working order and report any problems or needs.

Health and nutrition Supervisor

Afghanistan Institute of Nutrition and Home Economics (AINHE)

•	Under supervision of the Public of Nutrition Department and head trainer will be responsible for capacity building of BPHS health facilities staff (medical doctor midwife nurse and CHS) on public nutrition through formal training sessions to be conducted in respective provinces.
•	Collect and report necessary pre-and post-training evaluation data and any other data required of them during the training.
•	Ensure that all training aids and materials including PowerPoint slides are available and used during training sessions as per the MIYCN and NC training guidelines.
•	Providing training sessions to community volunteers and/or to targeted populations.
•	Writing a summary of the weekly activities.
•	Conducting post training follow up visits to health facilities to assess knowledge skills and confidence of the health workers who have received the trainings to observe that they practice the gained knowledge and skills and to provide support and coaching to the trainees.
