• Coordinated with an interdisciplinary team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, pharmacists, and nurses to standardize pain management for spine surgery patients, resulting in ≥80% compliance with an intraoperative protocol and a decrease in length of stay and readmissions
• Along with operations, co-led the management of a colorectal surgery bundle that entailed financial responsibility for each patient over a 90-day period

Contributed to the research and analysis for additional projects focused on clinical efficiency:
• To decrease the unnecessary use of Phase I nursing in post-anesthesia care units
• To lower the inappropriate use of bone morphogenetic protein in spine surgery and of hemostatic agents across all surgical procedures
• To advise on the necessity of purchasing a novel intraoperative CT scanner
