I love writing—especially stories. And I’ve always been told I have a way with words. But truth be told, I never expected I’d be writing for a living. You see, I also love helping people. I had my own gym for seven wonderful years. And I loved it! The coaching, the graft, the people. I hadn’t factored in how much effort I’d have to put into marketing the place (not to mention accounting, cleaning, and paying bills). “Build it, and they will come.” Right? Wrong. I had to entice people in and show them, educate and cajole them into reaping the rewards of exercise. And thus began my love affair with words. Words have become the medium through which I express myself. I’m a songwriter, so it’s not new to me. Songs are stories, too. But there’s something about writing to make people feel and act. Copywriting gives me the platform to reach people with language and help businesses that I resonate with to make sales. Sales is a bit of a dirty word. But how can ethical businesses grow without customers? And that’s where I come in. I’ve invested a great deal to sharpen my skills as a copywriter and work towards the lifestyle I want to live—one where I decide when to buckle in and when to take my foot off the gas. Back to my original point. I want to help you make sales and earn the money you deserve for assisting other people to turn their pain into meaning and make lasting changes in their lives. I think if we all help each other, we can’t lose.
