I am an experienced recruitment consultant specialising in IT. Currently based in the Northwest, covering all internal commercial recruitment for the Calisen Group. I began my career in recruitment as part of the recruitment team at FTSE 100 Home Emergency Company, HomeServe. Here I filled a full range of positions as the business grew and the needs of the business evolved. I conducted group interviews, hosted recruitment events, vetted large numbers of candidates for entry level positions and liaised with external recruitment agencies. I was then brought onboard with a team developing a new application being funded by HomeServe. In my role over seeing a team of 15, we resourced trades people in carefully selected areas throughout the country by any means necessary. This ranged from a simple call from a member of my team to private functions at premier league football clubs. As our database of engineers and the complexity of the task at hand grew, we adopted Salesforce as our ATS. As superuser, I then worked at the front of a team migrating our existing data and ensure that dashboards and all records were correct. It was my responsibly to stay inline with not only the demand of our customers, but also our aggressive expansion schedule and report updates and figures on a daily basis to CEO level. Having completed the migration of data and provided a substantial supply of engineers to support the app, I felt that the business could no longer offer me the fast paced environment that I thrive within and I was provided the opportunity to join Simpson Judge as an IT specialist. I very much enjoyed my time with Simpson Judge. This role gave the opportunity to expand my knowledge of systems and increase my exposure to various UK industries. I assisted 1000s of candidates across the country and I was fortunate enough to work with some of the UK's biggest corporations and household names. I now work as an internal recruiter for Calisen Group handling their internal commercial recruitment. I joined the business during an exciting period of growth following huge international investment. I still handle a wide range of IT and technical roles, but I am now also responsible for all commercial recruitment including supply chain management, human resources, finance, marketing and operations.
