Represented thousands of clients ranging from misdemeanors to murders. Currently focusing on serious felonies. Tried, and won, many cases.  Filed and won motions to suppress, or challenge probable cause, or bad warrants.  Several cases won at the appellate level (issues preserved by me but argued by our lawyers practicing solely in appeals), one involving prosecutorial misconduct, another recently for hotel searches at the Minn. S. Ct.  State v. John Leonard, decided May 13, 2020.
Presented in office, and statewide for CLEs involving privacy rights.  Mentored a new student every year from St. Thomas Law for at least the last five years.  Presented at U of M Law.
All while being a mom, ski patroller, and suffering insurmountable losses.

State of Minnesota, Fourth Judicial District Court, Hennepin County

Researching and writing judicial orders which were issued in criminal and civil cases.  Over 400 written and signed by the Judge with little editing.  Several affirmed on appeal, one by the Minn. S. Ct. on issues ranging from employment law, to 23 million dollar summary judgments and post-conviction relief on murder.
