 -Planning, executing and owning the success metrics for a range of high-value partner events with Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, Atlassian, Box and others.
-Driving brand awareness, revenue growth, and deepen relationships with existing and prospective customers, partners and influencers.

Global Senior Event Marketing Manager

Microsoft

-Contributed to the Microsoft Preferred Vendor program as a Senior Account Executive at Wunderman Chicago dedicated to the USCMO business. 
-Owned strategy development and execution plans in collaboration with business owners for the US Subsidiary.
-Managed Tier 1 National Event Portfolio for first party programs, third party industry events and VIP Executive engagements to include Microsoft Ignite, Windows 10 & Devices Roadshows, WE Days and Microsoft in Education Events.
-Worked extensively with internal and external agency teams including creative, production and studio and the client team on a daily basis.
-Worked across multiple teams to define and deliver pre/onsite/post-event customer journey, scorecard and ROI analysis, demand generation and social networking plan.
-Managed budget for v-teams and vendors.
-Developed internal communications and work back schedules for operational efficiency.
-Maintained key relationships and deliverables with Microsoft Business Groups and key stakeholders which included but not limited to Minecraft, XBOX, Surface, Windows & Devices, Office, Cloud + Enterprise.

Senior Event Project Manager, USM&O Marketing and Ops 

-Contributed to the Microsoft Preferred Vendor program as a Lead Project Manager with Gaddis Events.
-Successfully partnered with Microsoft leadership within several business groups, and key stakeholders in planning both first party and third party events.
-Owned multiple projects, including high profile (Tier 1) events including the US CIO Summits, TechEd, Worldwide Partner Conference, Strategic Architect Forum, and Microsoft Ignite from inception to execution.
-Lead and managed complex initiates to achieve project milestones and objectives.
-Established project initiation by outlining scope, manage resources, monitor project quality, manage risk and performance, ensuring all program s come in on time and on budget.
-Employed strategic and tactical marketing in program management, event management and experiential marketing with an emphasis on the high-tech industry.

Senior Event Project Manager, USM&O Windows & Devices 

MV Skansonia

-Direct responsibility of 150 corporate and social events per calendar year at one of Seattle's top event venues.
-Responsible for complete sales of catering and facility, menu creation, event planning and execution.
-Successful in increasing overall sales and revenues by 50% over the course of 5 years and increasing revenues to $1.5 million dollars annually.
-Directed event planning functions, oversaw event staff and operations, & guided the administrative processes associated with the pre-event and post-event phases of an event.
-Ensured a seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales while consistently delivering a high level of service.
-Responsible for achieving maximum guest and employee satisfaction and for managing the financial performance of all sales cost of goods, labor, operating, food costs, and P&L reports.
-Held a direct responsibility for managing the venues marketing, advertising, social media, website and online presence.
-Successfully worked with outside vendors on a full site redesign.

Director of Catering & Events

American Golf Corporation

-Critical in oversight of the operation of the banquet facilities.
-Worked directly with clients and potential clients to discuss their needs and timing for all aspects of their event.
-Worked with the Executive Chef to identify options for building successful events.
-Relied on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
-Performed a variety of tasks while wearing many “hats” and leading and directing the work of others members on my team.
-Responsible for all FOH staffing, scheduling, and training.

Banquet Manager

PRO Sports Club

-Responsible for “front of the house” operation and implementing superior customer service to all guests. 
- Daily tasks included overseeing a staff of fifteen, cashiering, expediting, serving, scheduling, problem solving, and ensuring maximum guest satisfaction. 
-Responsible for cash handling, change orders, and safe balances for five departments of the 37,000 member private club. 
-Solely responsible for the needs of catering to special events and private meetings throughout the week.

Floor Manager

I am a highly accomplished and seasoned professional with over two decades of expertise in sponsorship, brand, and event marketing. Throughout my career, I have consistently excelled in connecting companies with their clients and customers through a diverse range of initiatives, including sponsorships, conferences, campaigns, product launches, networking events, and tech industry trade shows.

In my current role as the Head of Sponsorships and Brand Activations at Smartsheet, I lead the strategic direction, execution, and outcomes for Smartsheet's key sponsorships. Notably, in 2021, I successfully onboarded and launched four global partnerships that significantly contributed to our organization's growth and impact. These partnerships included Special Olympics International, The Seattle Kraken, Climate Pledge Arena, and McLaren F1 Racing.

I am characterized by a positive, energetic, and forward-thinking approach to event marketing. My keen attention to detail, combined with a decisive and action-oriented mindset, has consistently driven successful outcomes. I thrive on motivating and leading people-centric activities, and my ability to adapt to fresh and challenging environments, particularly in fast-paced and ambiguous settings, sets me apart.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a strong track record of solving complex problems and effectively managing cross-functional teams to achieve business results. 🏁 Strength Has Many Speeds

I have to remind myself that my cut-throat 🏍️ motorcycle-racing daughter is also growing up to be a young woman. 💃

On track, she’s all precision and performance — braking later, turning sharper, shaving seconds off every lap. ⏱️ Her focus is data-driven, her instincts wired for competition.

But this weekend? She traded leathers for a dress, gloves for heels, and horsepower for a little bit of sparkle. ✨

And for a moment, I saw the full spectrum of who she’s becoming.

👩‍💼 I’m her manager.
🔧 Her dad is her mechanic and coach.
💫 And she’s the talent — disciplined, determined, and daring.

Together, we’re a family-built pit crew chasing progress one race, one milestone, one growing-up moment at a time. 🩵

It reminded me: growth doesn’t only happen at full throttle.
Sometimes it happens in quiet transitions — when the same girl who fearlessly dives into Turn 1 walks into her homecoming dance.

Strength isn’t always measured in speed or stats.
Sometimes, it’s in the grace of becoming. 🌙

And who knows — maybe one day, she’ll be the first female MotoGP rider. 🏆
But for now, she’s teaching me that even in racing, leadership, and life… strength has many speeds.

🌊 Growth looks different in your 40s.

The first photo: me falling off my surfboard at Pua‘ena Point, Hale‘iwa.
The second: one hour later — standing tall, balanced, and in flow.

Surfing in your 20s in Waikīkī is about fun.
Surfing in your 40s on the North Shore is about focus.

I was humbled. Hammered. Exhausted — wishing I had the neck muscles of an F1 driver. But I didn’t stop paddling.

Because progress — in the ocean or in leadership — doesn’t come from comfort. It comes from micro-improvements compounded over time.
📈 In business, we call it iteration.
 🏁 In racing, it’s telemetry and constant optimization.
 🌊 In surfing, it’s just getting back on the board.

That hour in the water reminded me that mastery isn’t a single leap — it’s a series of small adjustments.

Reposition the board. Rethink the timing. Recommit to the wave.
It’s the same formula that scales startups, builds billion-dollar brands, and grows teams — resilience + feedback + repetition.

And if you are an ocean, be an ocean.
Don’t shrink yourself into a pond because others can’t swim.
I’m an ocean — sometimes unpredictable, always evolving, and calm beneath the chaos.

Because whether it’s business, surfing, or life — greatness isn’t about staying balanced; it’s about learning to rise after every fall. 🌊

✨ Perspective Is a Form of Disruption

Sometimes all it takes is a shift in perspective for the world to reveal something entirely new. 🌸🕶️

This is the heart of Week 1 (of 8) in Driven to Disrupt.

For anyone new to it, Driven to Disrupt is an 8 week experience I created for 8 women in sports, motorsport, and brand marketing who want to break patterns, build confidence, expand their voice, and redefine leadership on their own terms. ⚡👟🔥
It is part community, part coaching, part creative ignition.
And the goal is for each woman to build her own Disruption Plan by the end of the program.

On our first call, I challenged the cohort to define their why.
Not their goals.
Not their achievements.
Their why.

And many realized something important.

🎯 Goals are future milestones.
🌱 Intentions are present truths.
Goals point to where you want to go.
Intentions anchor who you are right now.

Most people jump straight into goal setting because it feels measurable and safe.
But intention setting is what actually disrupts old patterns.
It forces you to look at your life, your work, and your dreams through a new lens.
It shifts your awareness.
It reframes what is possible.

Because clarity rarely comes from looking harder.
It comes from looking differently.

If you feel stuck, don’t push harder.
Shift the lens.
Try on another perspective. Try on another pair of shades. 😎

Leaders aren’t just the ones who act boldly.

🚨 From the Pit Lane to the Podium 🏁 A Masterclass in Adaptability

I still can’t get over what we just witnessed in Brazil.

Max Verstappen started last, from the pit lane, and finished third. One more lap and he might have been second.

Whether you love him or not, he’s a world champion for a reason. This wasn’t about having the fastest car or a perfect setup. It was about mindset, resilience, and the ability to stay composed when everything changes.

Think about it. Every small decision mattered. Tire strategy, timing, overtakes, communication with the team. Every detail had to align to turn what looked like failure into success.

That’s what great leadership looks like. It’s not about having the perfect start. It’s about how you respond when the plan falls apart.

In business, in racing, in life, plans change. You lose traction. You start from the pit lane. But when you stay flexible, focused, and hungry, you can still find your way to the podium.
