What is the importance of getting blood work done?

If I had a gun to your head 

and said lose 20lbs in 6 weeks? 🔫

You'd lose that with days to spare!

You'd do anything you had to do, to make it happen...

- Skip days of food
- Gym twice a day
- No stone unturned.

Why?

Becasue motivation would be 100/100.

Done deal.

Why is resilience important for preventing injuries and maintaining health?

Heres 10 tips we give clients, to help escape the stress maze 💤

1. Sleep 6-8 hours a night (6 minimum).

2. Strength training. Strength training 3-4 times a week increases muscle building and other anabolic hormones such as naturally occurring testosterone and growth hormone.

3. Eat balanced healthy meals every throughout the day. This will help prevent low blood sugar and minimise sugar cravings.

4. Remove processed food, plan your meals in advance favouring a high protein diet, healthy fats and vegetables.

5. Limit caffeine, alcohol and other stimulants.

6. Supplement with magnesium.

7. Get outdoors! By going for walks and being around nature more you will increase your vitamin d levels and lower your cortisol levels.

8. Perform more parasympathetic exercise such as yoga to help bring a state of calm in the body.

9. Meditate or use “grounding”. Deep breathing techniques and mindfulness has been shown to lower stress, anxiety and lower inflammation. Try using apps like Headspace.

10. Listen to music, podcast or audio books that help to bring a state of calm

I’ve met a lot of stressed out people lately.

Constantly on the move.

And here’s what I see all the time:

• Men overworked and not sleeping
• Parents juggling jobs and kids
• People being put on meds

Each of these groups are ultimatly trying to get in shape.

And each one of them says the same thing:

"I can’t lose weight".

So, here’s what you need to do:

Reset.

1. Review your food tracking for a week
4. Eat at maintenance cals for 4-6 weeks
2. Prioritise strength training for 12 weeks
3. Get bloodwork done (Vitamins & Testosterone)
5. Reduce cardio and training volume by half

Just stop spinning your wheels.

Because getting in shape shouldn’t be impossible.
In fact, it’s pretty simple.

But there’s a lot of reasons why people find it impossible to stick to a small deficit.
