As the Director of Growth & Partnerships at Spreedly, I lead a dynamic, international team of 7 professionals, who are collectively responsible for achieving 80% of our ambitious $50M+ ARR target, including implementing and executing on customer retention and growth strategies. My journey at Spreedly began in 2017 when I joined as the first Sales Engineer. Since then, I've climbed the ranks, serving as an Account Executive on the direct merchant/platform Sales Team, Director of Enterprise Sales, and into my current role, gaining invaluable experience and insights at each level.

Today, I oversee our Enterprise account portfolio, which comprises 60+ customers, and manage a diverse portfolio of 40+ partners. These partners operate primarily in payment gateways, processors, and fraud service providers, making my role crucial in navigating the complex landscape of financial technology.

As an individual contributor from 2018 to mid-2022, I consistently exceeded quota attainment, averaging 110% from 2018 to 2021 against an average quota of $1.1M, and achieving 120% in 2022 against a $1.3M goal.

- Increased average deal size from $90,000 (2018-2019) to $126,000 (2020-2022).Successfully closed commercial agreements with dozens of name-brand enterprises, including Warner Media, The New York Times, BP International, Rappi, PedidosYa, Cinepolis, Il Makiage (Oddity Inc), Broadridge Financial Solutions, PACCAR, Eventbrite, Rogue Fitness, Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, MasterCard International and more.

I worked as a Sales Messaging Consultant with Oratium, serving customers like Cisco Meraki, Graylog, and LinkedIn, working to build sales messaging collateral for field and global sales teams.

During this time, I also worked as an independent payments consultant. I worked with several merchants that were evaluating their payment stacks in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, seeking advice and recommendations on optimizing their payment technology and strategy.

First role - Sales Engineer; hired as an Enterprise Account Executive in January 2018; promoted to Senior Enterprise Account Executive in January 2019.

Initially hired as the company’s first Sales Engineer, I was later promoted to a leadership position within my first year, eventually to Director of Implementation & Customer Support. In this role, I led two teams consisting of five Technical Account Managers and five Support Analysts. My primary responsibilities encompassed Sales Engineering, Implementation Project Management, and Account Management for nearly 200 clients in the healthcare sector. I coordinated activities to enhance revenue, ensure project completion, and foster client relationships through active account management and customer support.

- Joined Validic during its high-growth phase and played a key role in expanding the customer base from 30 to over 200 in less than 24 months, contributing to a 7x increase in ARR from $1M to $7M.

- As the inaugural Sales Engineer for the SaaS-based platform, I led the Client Services Team by developing sales materials, video tutorials, and Knowledge Base Articles to clarify Validic’s API technology services.

- Created and implemented a systematic project management process for efficient customer onboarding, personally completing over 100 implementation projects within two years.

-Managed a portfolio of 50-70 concurrent implementation projects. Established a tiered account management program and trained account managers in consultative, solution-oriented techniques, contributing to an exemplary Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 50 through 2016.

-Took the helm of the Customer Support Team in January 2017 and implemented policies that cut support case resolution times by 66% and reduced the support queue by 75%.

US Navy

As a Submarine Officer in the Navy, I was entrusted with supervising and leading teams of 8-15 technicians and mechanics, ensuring the maintenance, repair, and operation of over 85% of the ship’s integrated engineering and weapons systems. In addition to managing up to three divisions, I excelled as an Engineering Project Manager and Ship’s Training Coordinator. My technical expertise, leadership skills, and ability to perform under pressure earned me recognition and additional responsibilities.

- Ranked #1 among 12 team leaders and was nominated as 2011 Submarine Squadron 17 Junior Officer of the Year; subsequently promoted to Assistant Engineer.

- As Engineering Project Manager, efficiently planned and managed over 2,000 man-hours daily during three extensive maintenance projects with a combined budget of over $100 million, achieving an average savings of 5% per project through adept managerial and organizational skills.

- Selected as Training Coordinator, a position typically assigned to more senior personnel; my dedicated efforts contributed to the ship receiving the highest grade in a third-party nuclear engineering safety inspection.

- Led a 15-person team as the tactical commander during critical missions, earning a reputation as the Senior Executive’s “go-to” officer for performance under pressure.
