I have been in healthcare operations management for over 8 years, and get this, I am an LPN! Yes, you read that right! I have a record of engaging staff, patients, and clients. How? By listening, actively. Why? Because how can we make changes if we don’t listen? What makes me special? I'm a quick learner, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy problem solving. My favorite thing about working in operations; experimenting with processes and workflows for the benefit of the team to optimize processes and resources. And....I was recently certified in Mental Health First Aid by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. What we all need is a better understanding of mental health needs, who better to inspire this change than a leader! I have also received a certificate in Supervisory Management from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. While I already had 6 years of management experience, I wanted to gain additional knowledge and skills to be a more compassionate and effective leader. Always learning and listening!
