Too many times they don't dig into the prospects pain

My rule of thumb is if you have an inbound you must dig into their pain

They came to you for a reason

My other rule of thumb is you must bring your research to the table

Even when I applied for jobs I had a 1 page sheet of notes of research about that company and the hiring manager
