Growing up, my brother and I were the first kids on my mom’s side of the family. We had 3 uncles that would always gift us with the newest tech gadgets. They would tell us how technology would command the future. The passion I have for technology and my natural love for creativity, support the momentum of my academic and professional career goals. After obtaining a BA degree from Savannah State University, I decided to continue my knowledge of technology at Arizona State University, where I am currently a Graphics Information Technology student. I also use my free time to learn new applications and continue my photography hobby. Currently, I serve as a Home Depot Distribution Center Systems Coordinator and IT professional with over 3+ years of experience providing technical resolution, and analytical problem solving while providing excellent service quality. I’ve serviced over 800+ associates and leaders between 5 distribution centers in the Savannah and Locust Grove Georgia locations. During my years as a coordinator, I’ve planned and installed devices as well as implemented processes that have contributed to over 15 different diverse Corporate deployment projects. I’ve coordinated the opening of an offsite building in Savannah Ga. where I assisted associated with wireless devices, network connectivity, VPN, and software installation. I've also contributed to the implementation and deployment of a brand-new distribution center. During this opening, I managed hardware and software for over 400 associates and leaders, set up new VoIP devices, configured new software and applications as well as built device equipment and furnishing which is still utilized to support the building today. Throughout my career with Home Depot, I have received 25 Homer Awards and multiple ‘Associate of the Month’ recognitions for living the company’s values daily. The best feedback and acknowledgment I receive comes from the customers and associates I service daily.
