Created visible strategic prioritisation board for all projects and requests received. This ensured the analytics team was working on key initiatives, as well as giving visibility of pipeline and backlog to stakeholders. 

Established a strategy to streamline reporting, including implementing a best practice culture through ensuring comprehensive documentation for all key reports and critical external data feeds.

We successfully travelled 43,000km, passing through 21 countries, crossing 15 African land borders  and negotiated shipping of our vehicle from Senegal to South Africa.

I pursued an exciting opportunity to start an Operational Research / Operational Analysis team within Swiftcover (which was taken over by AXA Personal Lines) to support non-pricing business problems. The small team comprised analysts all without prior insurance industry experience. 

I developed and promoted the strategy and vision for the team and established business relationships with senior stakeholders. I coached, mentored and developed the team both on their analytical skills and insight approach, as well as creative approaches to developing business knowledge.

Within 6 months, the team successfully delivered key projects across multiple business areas, following a new approach in analysing business problems and presenting results to “tell the story”. I was asked to train other established pricing teams in this new approach.

I was responsible for delivering optimal shorthaul and longhaul route networks at Gatwick within resource constraints, to enable Commercial teams to deliver best possible revenues in current and future seasons.  This included stakeholder management across departments within BA, as well as working in partnership with airport operators at both ends of route.  Route analysis of both current routes and future potential route opportunities was an important aspect of the team, and I managed, guided and coached a small team of analysts in this regard.
