This built confidence faster than trying to create the perfect strategy.
Even on days I wasn’t feeling it, consistency mattered more than perfection.

The best visibility hack. 
Find people with strong opinions and join the conversation. 
That’s how you get seen by the right people and have fun.

What would you rate as your most effective LinkedIn habit so far?

There’s no doubt that regularly publishing your perspective is the best insurance for your career, even if you’re not looking for a new job right now.

Careers don’t look like they used to.
Yet we still act like putting your head down and working hard is the key to growth.

Spoiler: it’s not.

There’s a new playbook, and it rewards those willing to step outside their comfort zone to publish consistently.

If you’ve been in the game for decades, you’ve already got the expertise and perspective.
You just have to learn how to package it for visibility, and deal with the fear of being seen.

Sitting passively, waiting for opportunities to fall into your lap, isn’t a strategy.

Building the habit of sharing your perspective is.

Over time, it becomes a body of work that speaks for you, even when you’re not in the room.

Curiosity is a differentiator.

The moment you stop asking questions, you start falling behind.
And let’s be honest, AI is there to pick up your slack.

The people who stay curious are the ones who remain relevant.

They keep learning.
They’re more adaptable.
They ask “why” and “what if” and take action.

I met with the Executive Director of a local nonprofit this morning for coffee, and it was a powerful reminder that not every meaningful connection starts online.

There’s something about sitting across the table from someone who’s doing good work in your community, hearing their story, vision, challenges, and hopes firsthand. 

No post can replace that.

Visibility isn’t just digital.
It’s also local and embodied.

When was the last time you connected with someone in your community in person?

Here are 5 systems that actually work to stay consistent with publishing content.

1. Find your people. 
Sharing your ideas can feel intimidating, especially early on.
Find (or start!) a group of people who are committed and co-work.
Accountability helps fuel consistency.

2. Pick a cadence and stick to it.
Saying you’ll “post regularly” isn’t a plan.
Decide how many times a week you’ll post and protect that habit.
I chose 5x/week. I post on weekdays and feel zero guilt about taking weekends off.

3. Repurpose. Repurpose. Repurpose.
Not everyone sees everything you publish.
Post it again.
You can turn a video into a carousel, a carousel into a text post, etc.
Repurposing keeps you consistent, especially when life gets crazy.
(You'll probably see this post as a carousel at some point.)

4. Pay attention to what’s working.
Notice patterns in your analytics.
Are your carousels performing well?
Do your posts with photos get more engagement?
Let your data inform your content.

5. Engage.
Social media is social.
Comment on posts.
DM people doing interesting work.
Thoughtful engagement builds community and visibility.

Consistency is about building systems that make showing up inevitable.
