I am a learner, an educator, and an experienced L& D executive leader. I position people to become the best versions of themselves through building and delivering transformative learning, training, and professional development programs for schools, remote companies & startups. After talking to me for five minutes, my passionate and inquisitive personality may rub off on you! I tend to see the world from an optimistic, yet analytic lens. I was the kid that asked 'WHY?' a lot, with parents who guided me to figure out those answers myself. This helped shape me into a strategic thinker and problem solver, with the superpower to use backwards planning and design thinking to solve problems. How do I add value? I produce results. I am a big picture thinker and a visionary, with the skills to flush out the details to make the vision a reality. Leadership As a people manager, hiring and overseeing teams ranging from 5 to 22 team members. I add value by designing roles and the hiring process, hiring, training, managing, and coaching staff, both internal and external to my teams. I've coached several of my direct reports to pivot into my role as I transitioned out. L&D I have helped to shape learning for the company and clients/ students. I quickly learn everything I can about the business, the consumer, and how my colleagues collaborate and communicate. This allows me to work within the larger team to develop innovative solutions to problems. ID While building learning programs and learning experiences, I add value by understanding the learner, purpose for learning, and desired outcomes. I use research based approaches to design engaging experiences that actually produce the desired result. My superpower is building authentic assessments and performance tasks. Now I coach IDs to do the same. Teacher A award winning educator, I add value by delivering math instruction that empowers and levels up traditionally underperforming learners. Data analysis is at the center of my instructional delivery. I differentiate instruction during the entire learning block, including whole group instruction, while also using strategies like flipped classroom and gamification to improve learner self-efficacy.
