Managed a global program across categories such as building services, personal protective equipment, printers, scanners, security, gas detection, calibration, lab chemicals, roofing services, sensing and controls, and other indirect products and services encompassing approximately 200M of spend. Worked as an expatriate for 6 months in Bucharest, Romania facilitating growth in the region, performing training to the procurement team, and driving immediate synergies with recently acquired companies.  Developed processes ensure 98%+ compliance for spend categories are met - thereby increasing productivity and limiting leakage.  Led a team that tracked monthly spend and reported to senior leadership.

Developed and leveraged a deeper understanding of high dollar and critical suppliers and their markets to achieve improved results in negotiations through prioritization, strategy validation, and analysis of spend, markets, risks, benchmarks, etc.  Outcomes: stronger supply chain, better balanced and productive relationships with suppliers, achievement of direct material productivity goals, secure and sustainable competitive advanced, and mitigating risk.

Category Manager

Collaborated with  suppliers to align schedules including identification of any gaps and risk mitigation actions to achieve continuity of supply. Placed purchased orders (POs).  Worked as project lead for bearing buyers to facilitate subcontract material.

Global Buyer

Acted as the coordination and communication link with all
areas of operations relevant to purchased parts for the Geo-Eye satellite program.
Tracked shortages to expedite deliveries, receipts and production implementation to ensure program schedule.

Planner/Scheduler

Working in the repair and overhaul SCAS division.  Developed models to help predict ever-changing forecasts to ensure customer due dates were met while maintaining efficient inventory levels.
