As a Software Development Engineer 2 at ShareChat, I design and build scalable and fault-tolerant data ingestion workflows using message queues, and enhance the relevance of search results across various stages of the search funnel, catering to approximately 10 million daily active users. I also configure multiple CI/CD pipelines with auto-scalable deployments, monitoring, and alerting, and write unit and integration tests for the codebase. Prior to joining ShareChat, I worked as an NLP Engineer at Samsung Electronics, where I built an end-to-end deep learning system that provides personalized recommendations along with explanations, using knowledge graphs to enrich the data. I also implemented a service for spell correction for Samsung domain words, and worked on continuous and active learning approaches to improve the chatbot performance. I have a strong background in machine learning, NLP, NLU, and recommendation systems, and I am proficient in various deep learning frameworks and tools. I graduated with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Ropar in 2019. I am enthusiastic about broadening my skill set to include frontend development, big data analytics, cloud services, and data engineering.
