Key Highlights: 
1. Joined the team in August 2021, as a senior producer, to build a portfolio of courses for the B2B business. My key responsibility was to blend instructional design into engaging narratives through video production, screenwriting and motion design. 
2. Was promoted to Head of Video across learning and marketing in October 2022 and was tasked to build an agile team of video producers, animators and video editors.
3. Lead the project of setting up Studio Indus, a 2500 Sq. Ft. video studio at the Harappa office. Worked with external vendors to plan, build and deliver the studio within 4 months and 1/3rd the market costs.
4. Wrote, pitched and produced 20 short films as a part of a DEI&B intervention for one of the biggest business groups in the country. Ensured timely delivery of the project (over 8 months of design and production) while keeping tabs on P&L.
4. As a part of the Harappa Creative Studio, I currently lead a team of 6, producing custom video content for some of the biggest clients across FMCG, BFSI, Hospitality and more. 
5. Responsible for P&L for the studio and custom content business.
6. Responsible for the everyday video output of the studio by leading all writing efforts across branded content, marketing and learning.
7. Constantly jumping in as on-screen talent to anchor videos, act in client productions and double up as a video editor when needed, which is quite often!

Instagram

Called 'Gannekekhet' on Instagram, from the cult scene in 'Jab We Met' I create content for myself on weekends. The process helps me in more ways than one. 
1. Allows me to stay on top of trends and tools that often find themselves leaking into my marketing work. 
2. Allows me to keep my creative machinery well-oiled by being the only one ideating, shooting, directing and editing. 
3. Helps me stay grounded and agile by getting quick feedback from the market.

Independent Content Creator

Fresh out of National Institute of Design, I thought all it took to start a production house was to setup a home studio, get an editing system, put together a website with words like boutique, mavericks and misfits, only to realise, within the first month of radio silence, that the two words that actually needed to be understood were, pitching and outreach. Started doing that.Ended up bootstrapping (another cool word) the business to 50L in the first year, 80L in the second and almost a Crore in the 3rd backed by now-lost friends and partners. 
Navigated the rigmarole of empanelment across agencies like Dentsu, JWT, Hakuhodo, FCP Kinnect. Won pitches, lost clients, won money, lost more but came out wearing my battlescars with pride. 
Made content for Kia Motors, Carlsberg, TVS Motor, Mitsubishi, PepsiCo and more. 

Started a parallel YT channel during the pandemic called 'Three Barstools' with the crack cocktail team at Sidecar, pushing out over 70 videos during the pandemic, most of them branded collaborations with marquee alco giants like Pernod Ricard, Diageo, William Grants & Sons and Beam Suntory. Generated a revenue of 30L+ within 8 months of operations until bars opened up and the teams had to get back to doing regular shifts. Given a second chance, I'd do it all over again!
