Research and Development of Electric Vehicle systems including power management. Work involved simulation and design of a power management system capable of delivering power from multiple sources in a variety of configurations depending on load demand or performance profile. Low voltage models were constructed to verify system design.

Research And Development Engineer

Research into supporting unikernels in OpenStack as first class resources. This work encompassed the research into unikernels and their low level operation/requirements as it pertains to booting. In addition, research into how OpenStack boots instances was done. Modifications were made to OpenStack Nova which allowed booting of the Rumprun Unikernel as well as MirageOS. The OpenStack Project, Solum was also modified so as to automate the compilation of applications into Unikernels and then deploy them on OpenStack.

Summer Intern 2016

Research and Development of an automated method of installing OpenStack for research purposes. The work enabled future researchers to quickly deploy OpenStack environments in a number of predefined configurations. Researchers could then investigate cloud resiliency, security etc. If for any reason the OpenStack environment became unstable, the environment could be destroyed and restarted in minutes.

Summer Intern 2015

I am currently working at The UWI as a Research and Development Engineer working on the  development of Autonomous Electric Vehicles, Autonomous UAVs and Solar Technology. I completed my BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The UWI in 2016. When not engaged in work or academia, I enjoy loosing myself in thought experiments, learning new things, especially technology related. I also find interest in working on my car. Be it repairs or a DIY project. Quite often I make time to discover new fishing spots around the twin island republic where I reside, Trinidad and Tobago. When I'm not trying to catch them, I love spending time making my aquarium look more and more surreal for my fishes.
