I have joined eXelate as employee #1 with a goal to build and lead the eXelate R&D team in Israel. I grew the team & company technology from scratch into a complex system running hunderds of servers worldwide, serving over 4 Billion real-time data-events (over 4 TBs of data) per day and integrated with the world’s leading ad-tech firms such as Google, Yahoo, Appnexus and more.

responsible for the management and development of various software projects. All projects are GIS intensive (ESRI tools), both rich client and web, using MS technologies (VB, C#, ASP.NET)
In Addition, in charge of introduction of SOA architecture to IDF's operational systems.

Managing the software performance tuning process for a large scale software project: planning, testing, measuring and creating creative software and technology solutions in order to improve performance in terms of memory and time consumption.

Software performance tuning team leader

Managing the development, integration and testing process in a software infrastructure project. 
The product includes complicated GIS features based on ESRI's technology. 
Responsinble for architecture definition, high-level design and quality management.
Collecting and analysing the customer's requirements.
The project is managed according to TOC methodology.
The group includes ~20 programmers in 3 different teams.

Leading a large software development team (12 programmers), responsible for developing the UI framework in a large software project.
The framework is programmed in C++ and Visual Basic.
Deep knowlege of Win32 Internals.
The development lifecycle is managed using "Rational" Tools: ClearCase, ClearQuest, Rose, RequisitePro.

He has held positions such as VP of R&D and GM at eXelate from 2007 to 2013. Shlomi Aflalo is also a Co-Founder of RxWare and currently operates as CEO of 5Blue Software. In addition, he has been a senior consultant to various tech companies, contributing valuable industry expertise.
