👇10 things you may or may not yet know about me👇 ➡️ I am the husband and father to the amazing Meyers family, who constantly inspire me to grow. ➡️ I spent many amazing years learning and achieving within the Chofetz Chaim network of schools, starting off in WITS in Milwaukee, WI and continuing through RSA in Queens, NY. Both schools had a profound impact on my development. ➡️ I moved on to become the Associate Executive Director at my alma mater, Rabbinical Seminary of America. My responsibilities included spearheading their auction campaign, managing their donor database, and fundraising. Additionally, as a member of their operations team, I started a new weekly Alumni program geared towards local young professionals. ➡️ I am the Executive Director of Montessori Torah Academy in Louisville, KY. We combine Montessori educational concepts with a focus on traditional Jewish values to establish a life-long love of learning in our students. It is amazing to see the students guide their own workflow and learning path as they develop the skills of intrinsically motivated learning - skills that are so necessary to thrive in the modern environment. ➡️ I am the Associate Director of the Kentucky Institute for Torah Education. KITE is an amazing organization with the vision of building and fostering a community where all Louisville Jews can deepen their connection to Judaism. ➡️ In my past life, I played the saxophone 🎷and would pick it up again in a heartbeat if I had time (hint - I don't!). I still play piano 🎹. ➡️ In the previously stated past life, I also side-gigged (not sure if that’s a word) as a professional photographer (📷 “smile!”) and I still shoot as a hobby on occasion. ➡️ I graduated summa cum laude with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide. The therapeutic skills and outlooks I learned have deepened and enhanced my perspective on life in so many amazing ways. ➡️ I am passionate about connecting and building relationships. We each have a meaningful and amazing outlook on the world, - I’m eager to learn from yours! ➡️ Some allege that I use the word “Amazing” too often. I think that’s amazing.
