While I've been performing since I was 5 or 6, this experience was unique. For the first time, I let go of the usual worries about makeup, arrangements, and perfection.
Instead, I embraced the atmosphere and the joy of the moment. I watched fellow performers passionately immerse themselves in their art, saw a mother tenderly preparing her child for the stage, and felt a deep connection to the passion that drives us as artists. This #positiveperspective made the experience profoundly enriching and satisfying.

Sometimes, we forget why we started on our paths. This experience was a beautiful reminder to focus on the joy and passion that fuel our journeys.

Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to lead an interactive and hand-on session on using Generative AI (GenAI) to create marketing videos specifically tailored for small business owners and solopreneurs. 

These individuals often face the challenge of not being tech-savvy or having the budget to hire professional video creators, yet they understand the importance of videos for marketing and brand building.

Here’s how GenAI is transforming video creation:
#PreProductionWithGenAI: Tools like ChatGPT Plus are revolutionizing the brainstorming process. Participants used AI to generate ideas, scripts, storyboards, and even predict potential issues, making the planning phase more accessible and efficient.
#ProductionWithGenAI: Smart phone cameras with AI features such as AI-generated wallpapers, Best Take selector, and video boost bring high-quality recording capabilities right into their hands. No more needing expensive equipment!
#PostProductionWithGenAI: With tools like InVideo, Descript, and Runway, participants were able to create professional-grade videos from scratch. These platforms offer intuitive editing features, making it easy for anyone to produce polished content.

The response from the participants was overwhelming! They collaborated with GenAI to come up with ideas, scripts, record, and finally create their own videos – an achievement many thought was beyond their reach.

From My Father's Lessons to My Children's Future: A Tribute on His 80th Birthday

Today marks a deeply special occasion as we celebrate my father's 80th birthday. As I reflect on his incredible journey, my heart swells with gratitude and admiration for the countless life lessons he has imparted to me. My father has been more than a parent; he has been a beacon of integrity, passion, and unwavering resilience. His ability to move with the times, unlearn and relearn, and embrace both student and teacher roles simultaneously continues to inspire not only me but countless others.

Growing up under his guidance, I learned the importance of steadfast integrity and the value of passion in everything we do. He taught me that true strength lies in being adaptable, always ready to learn something new, and willing to share that knowledge generously. These lessons have been my guiding light, especially as a mother focused on my children's education.

Inspired by my father's legacy and in collaboration with my daughter, Aratrika, I embarked on a mission to create innovative educational tools for the future.

Creating a 10-minute "Intro to Gen AI" module for K12 students has been an exciting and fulfilling journey, made incredibly efficient with the help of Gen AI tools. The initial brief was straightforward: develop an explainer video. However, I saw an opportunity to make it more engaging and interactive, tailored to the unique learning needs of young students.

Leveraging #ChatGPT and #InVideo AI, I transformed what would typically take at least a week into a high-quality learning experience in just one day. 

These AI tools were central to creating four engaging explainer videos with rich visuals and a solid framework for an interactive module complete with scaffolding activities and assessments. 

The subtopics covered included:
What is Gen AI? – Simplifying the concept with real-world examples.
Applications of Gen AI – Showcasing how Gen AI impacts daily life.
Future of Gen AI – Imagining the possibilities and future innovations.
Ethical Considerations – Introducing the importance of ethics in AI.

Scaffolding and contextual learning strategies were central to my approach. By gradually increasing the complexity and linking new information to what students already know, I aimed to create a seamless and enriching learning experience.

This project not only allowed me to delve into the fascinating world of Gen AI but also reinforced my belief in the power of interactive and contextual learning in education.

Editing Like a Pro: Workshop on Clipchamp, InVideo AI, and Descript

This week in our ongoing workshop series for the AM Mobile Sales team, we delved into the fascinating world of Editing or Post-Production. Our focus was on mastering video editing using Microsoft Clipchamp, InVideo AI, and Descript. The intuitive interface of Clipchamp made basic editing a breeze, while InVideo AI and Descript opened doors to new-age editing techniques with their AI-driven features.

One of the highlights was creating a high-quality, one-minute informative video using InVideo AI and ChatGPT in under 30 minutes. 
1. We used ChatGPT to generate the script and effective prompts
2. InVideo AI generated a good draft from this
3. Edited the visuals, text and voiceover on InVideo AI edit option
4. Added logo and other details on Clipchamp

And guess what? InVideo AI cloned my voice for the narration - a super cool feature you can try as well.
This hands-on experience not only showcased the power of effective prompting but also demonstrated how quickly impactful content can be produced with the right tools.

A Humbling First: Completing the AM Mobile Video Workshop

Over the past 5 weeks, we’ve achieved incredible outcomes, which have not only enriched our participants but also significantly boosted my confidence as a trainer.

This workshop marked a significant milestone as my first training assignment, and the journey has been profoundly rewarding. The participants' engagement, creativity, and dedication were truly inspiring. We focused on creating compelling video content from scratch - right from marketing strategy to scripting and storyboarding, to recording under different conditions with minimum equipment, to editing and bringing it all together. Leveraging Gen AI to optimize the process to create quality at scale. 

Participants have shared their feedback, highlighting the practical skills they gained and how they plan to implement them in their professional roles.
