At WebMD Ignite, a division of WebMD and Internet Brands, I serve as the Vice President of Product. I lead efforts to drive growth and innovation for our suite of medical apps. My role involves creating and executing a product strategy that enhances app features to better serve healthcare professionals, enabling them to apply evidence-based medicine in clinical practice while supporting our commercial partners' business goals. 

I work closely with internal teams, including engineering, design, and development, and external stakeholders, such as healthcare organizations, physician influencers, and corporate leadership, to ensure our products deliver value. With a data-driven approach, I identify healthcare providers' evolving needs and measure product improvements' impact while balancing creativity and user experience to craft impactful solutions. 

Overseeing the entire product lifecycle from inception to delivery, I am committed to ensuring our apps continue to engage a global healthcare audience, improve clinical outcomes, and drive long-term value for our clients.

As the leader of a global team of 5 product professionals, I spearheaded the growth of a high eight-figure clinical reference, decision support, and continual medical education platform, crucial for aiding diagnostic, treatment, and medication management decisions for physicians, nurses, and pharmacists worldwide. Overseeing the full lifecycle of product discovery and elaboration, user research, product design, and usage analytics, I developed and executed approved business cases to drive our initiatives forward.

My leadership resulted in impressive achievements, including year-over-year revenue growth in 2021 and a remarkable increase in new sales. Surpassing the 2022 renewal targets by 5% further propelled significant business expansion. Additionally, the newly developed mobile point of care app received an increased +2-point star rating on Apple and Android stores, enhancing user satisfaction and garnering positive feedback.

Moreover, following the introduction of new capabilities in July 2021, the core market net promoter score (NPS) surged by a notable 7 points, resulting in heightened customer advocacy and retention.

Another key focus area was transforming our product development process. By implementing product discovery and human-centered design methodologies, I achieved a remarkable increase in cross-functional alignment and reduced the risk of launching new use cases within legacy products.

Furthermore, I enhanced diagnosis and treatment search relevancy by developing an integrated intelligent search model, resulting in improved user satisfaction and faster access to critical medical information.

As the leader overseeing product development from ideation to launch, my primary focus has been on virtual simulation and behavioral and competency-based assessment tools for nurse education. Through meticulous planning and execution, I've successfully guided this process, starting with conducting in-depth market analysis and developing compelling business cases. This effort resulted in a significant high seven-figure range budget allocation for product expansion, underscoring the confidence in our vision.

Fostering cross-functional collaboration has been central to our success. By engaging finance, sales, marketing, and technology teams, I've ensured alignment of our product vision with overarching business objectives. Additionally, I've maintained an open dialogue with nursing educators and professionals, refining learning management systems to meet industry needs and enhance user experience.

The journey from concept to reality involved spearheading prototype development and MVP testing. This included leading a strategic go-to-market approach, which resulted in securing four healthcare institutions as partners and achieving MVP launch within an impressive nine months, propelling our market entry.

To fine-tune our product-market fit, I conducted over 500 user sessions and 100 workshops, allowing us to iteratively improve our offerings and significantly boost product relevance and sales. Furthermore, by leading monthly clinician advisory board meetings, I converted two members to pilot partnerships, expediting our product launch and solidifying our position in the market.
Through these efforts, I've demonstrated a commitment to driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and delivering solutions that not only meet but exceed the needs of our users and stakeholders in the healthcare education space.

As the leader of a diverse team of 14 strategy, design, marketing operations, SEO, and e-commerce professionals, I've managed a substantial annual budget in the mid-eight-figure range. My responsibilities have encompassed orchestrating comprehensive marketing strategies for clinical reference books and textbooks, covering everything from product valuation and positioning to segment analysis and channel sales.

One of my key achievements has been directing financial and strategic planning, which has led to significant improvements in B2C and B2B2C sales and engagement. By implementing SEO/SEM tactics and leveraging insights from Google Analytics, I've refined our marketing operations and driven better results.
