Hi, I’m Shoshanna 👋 I recently quit my job to run my own business, here's my why... ⬇️ I spent my school life excluded and kicked out, failed my exams and got fired from my first part-time job. I struggled to find my first full-time job and to adjust once in it. I lacked guidance and was unequipped to succeed. I speak to young people every day and not much has changed. Too many young people STILL feel lost, frustrated and left behind And there's still a HUGE disconnect between: 1️⃣ The skills taught at school & the skills needed to succeed at work 47% of working 18-24 year olds state their biggest challenges right now are progressing in their current role and building their confidence. (Fairy Job Mother, 2023) 2️⃣ Employers understanding what young people truly want and need 1/3 of businesses find it more difficult to motivate Gen Z employees compared to previous generations (Grant Thornton, 2023) I’m on an incredibly personal mission to change that.
