Following is a brief of the responsibilities of the role: 

A. Analysis
1. Idea generation: Identifying high profitability businesses with a stable moat protecting their profitability and favorable long-term prospects through screening, risk analysis, financial analysis etc. from a wide range of listed companies. Categorize the investment in the bucket of secular long term compounders, emerging moats or cyclicals.
2. Forensic Financial Analysis: To check for accounting shenanigans.
3. Number Analysis : Comparing the story with Number Analysis to pursue or weed out businesses. 
4. Management Analysis: To check how much the management walks the talk, how they run the company's day to day operations, how efficiently they allocate capital and if they can resist the corporate herd mentality to mindlessly chase scale.

B. Valuation: 
5. Risk-Reward Analysis at individual company level: Valuing the company only when the analysis checklist outcome says so. Then deciding on margin of safety, buying price, return potential based on the categorization of secular long term compounders, emerging moats or cyclicals.

C. Portfolio Management
6. Make allocations by position sizing to minimize risk and then look to maximize returns across opportunities in buckets of secular long term compounders, emerging moats and cyclicals, while keeping in mind the risk apatite, willingness to take risk & constrains of the family.

D. Portfolio monitoring & rebalancing: 
7.We monitor our portfolio quarterly and rebalance only when needed, mostly rarely.
