We were talking about business strategies and obviously, LinkedIn came up.

You know what melted my heart recently?
People taking action

I've been high on consulting calls this month
(And already consulted 15+ entrepreneurs woww!!!)

But truth be told
99% of people who join these calls
Never take any action

Which is why when I see them winning
I consider it a personal win

Here are some of my recent wins:

- An entrepreneur expressed in one of these calls that she was finding it difficult to embrace publicly that she had started a business. After our call - she made it official on LinkedIn.

What I've realized lately is 

The more opinionated you are 
The more people you'll offend
And the more you'll attract

Diplomacy is good
But often too good to be true

Speak your mind out once in a while
It might bring you more business than you think!

Most people come to me thinking they have a LinkedIn problem, 
When in reality it's usually a deeper Business problem.

After talking to 15+ business owners this past week, 
I've identified 7 common problems:

1. Lack of clarity on their Big-3: problem, audience, solution. 
Without this focus, your LinkedIn strategy will lack direction. 

2. Jargon filled LinkedIn profile and content
You will get zero leads if people don't understand what you do. 

3. Reposts/Memes/Quotes
You're giving them zero reason to take you seriously.

4. No social proof/results/expertise
Why listen to someone with no proven expertise or results?

5. Inactive and disengaged LinkedIn presence
If you're not interacting with others, why would they interact with you?

6. Excessive calling out of problems instead of giving solutions
Again - zero value

7. No clear action or next steps. 
What do you want them to do next? Scroll past you?

If you are here to sell:
What exactly are you selling? 
What's your no-brainer offer?
If you were the customer would you buy it?
Why not?

Craft your offer till you get a yes

- 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼?

Where do they live? What do they do?
What do they think? What are their fears and desires?

Why do they need your product/service?
Is your offer worth their money?

- 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲?

Are there better alternatives? 
Why should people invest their money in them and not you?

Do NOT do anything else 
Until you get absolute clarity on these questions

Because without absolute clarity
You won't have a STRONG foundation
You won't have a STRONG business
You won't have a STRONG Community

Not for long.

So stop making excuses
And start taking action.

I realized this far too soon
And whenever I think it's starting to become easy
There you are, struck with a new problem
And off you go
Start again

Sure there are highs
You have freedom, you have ownership
You earn proportionately, exponentially even

But they're often followed closely by the lows
You work odd hours, you take all the blames
Your bank balance hits negatives at times
All hell breaks loose

And in those times you want to give it all up
Get back to the stability - let go of everything you've built 

Sometimes it makes me wonder - why haven't I given up yet
I wish I knew the answer - it would make it a bit easier
Or not?

I just know this one thing
Whatever doesn't kill you - makes you stronger

Sure I despise the hardships 
So much so that I want to scream my heart out 
And run to the hills, never to come back

But I secretly wish to see the other end of the tunnel
I so wanna see where it leads
Perhaps, that's the answer?
