Life has all been about pivoting at the right time, doing stupid things with heaps of paranoia. Finished my computer engineering in 2015, full of dreams and aspirations. I started my first company with INR 50,000, which I borrowed from my dad. It was a hyperlocal classifieds platform, aimed to revolutionize window shopping for fashion outlets in India. I won the Microsoft Bizspark competition and also was a runner-up in the August Festival, but eventually, I failed and shut down my startup within a year. I did not give up, though. I started a marketing agency, Zebra Digital Marketing, with nothing but determination. Three years into its operations, I scaled it to $200k and managed to close and manage brands like Dominos India, Dunkin Donuts, Saraswat Co-operative Bank, State Bank of India, and Marks & Spencer. Then, I started The WAD AGENCY. I grew it to profitability and sold it to Ditech Publishing House for an undisclosed amount. I managed a team of 35 and completed 100% of the sales quota to reach $350k in revenue. I targeted the APAC & NA regions to source and close enterprise deals, driving the end-to-end strategy for SEO, PPC, social media, branding, ORM, design, UI/UX, digital marketing, content, web, and app dev. I even closed and managed Workplace by Meta (SaaS), Thomas Cook, Laxmi Mittal Group of Industries, UNICEF, University of Cambridge, World Trade Organization, Coutloot, and Canadian SIM. But I grew tired of the monotony of the service industry, so I switched to the SaaS industry. I joined Clientjoy as the VP of Growth, operating at the cross-junction of product, demand generation, marketing, CS, sales, external partners & vendors. I spearheaded the entire GTM motion in APAC & NA regions. It has been an incredible journey so far, full of ups and downs.
