Hey! I have a degree in business (marketing) with experience in marketing, operations, social media management and event management. More of a generalist than a specialist at the moment. I believe the mind is a storm of thoughts and curiosity is disaster management. I have been a curious individual since I was a child, always looking to learn and explore. I have dabbled with various opportunities and have found a strong inclination towards marketing, finance, event & project management. Ever since I was in the 5th grade, I have had a passion for working backstage. I always used to grab the smallest of opportunities at school to get a simple role in adjusting the microphone on stage. This is the one constant interest I have had, and going from that small role at the age of 11 to now leading and organizing events, this is a journey I cherish the most in life. Owing to my interest in event and project management, I have had multiple opportunities to lead teams of individuals older to me and with a higher degree of experience. These opportunities of leading teams have made me realize a lot about my own abilities and has been a very humbling experience. Stress brings out the best in me. Working on events can be stressful at times, but I have come to realize that stress and smart work are the two main driving factors towards making me better at what I do. With increasing curiosity, I stepped into the world of digital marketing and am learning something new every day about marketing, the consumer psyche, and the relevance of digital marketing in the 21st century. In more recent times, I have taken a keen interest in Financial Markets and personal finance. I spent several months understanding the basics of trading, investing, and personal finance, and see myself dedicating more time to understand the workings of the financial world with more finesse. Public speaking has been a part of my personality for at least the last 6 years. I always had a fear of speaking in public, but over the last 6 years, I have slowly battled the fear and climbed the ladder first at school and then at college, having multiple opportunities to anchor, deliver speeches, host events, for gatherings of over 1000 people. I aspire to utilize my passion for managing events and projects, along with my strength in public speaking and leadership and my inclination towards digital marketing and finance to learn and grow in my professional and personal journey and continue to be curious and acquire new skills and keep improving myself.
