I'm a committed, diligent and energetic academic with research, teaching and leadership experience, interested in business and politics (esp. EU, Sustainability, Responsible Management, Environmental Regulations, Automotive Industry, Global Economy, International Business and Strategy), international experience (Germany, Norway, UK, US, Belgium/Brussels). My external engagement revolves around environmental sustainability and in particular Carbon Literacy Training. In this capacity, I have offered pro bono consultancy services. From 2019 to 2023 I was the Head of the Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship Department. Previously, I was involved in Admissions for three years and have enjoyed working with colleagues to develop a Sustainability/Corporate Responsibility pathway for BSc Management students. I've also been involved in the distance learning programme (University of London Worldwide, BSc Business Administration) as chair of the exam board. Outside of work, I completed my first half marathon in 2010 and ran my first marathon in 2011 to mark the end of the marathon that was the PhD. In 2012 I ran the Great South Run (10 miles) to raise money for Cancer Research UK. In 2015 I ran the London Marathon to raise over £2,000 for The Children's Society. I completed my third (and final) Marathon in 2019. I enjoy playing football and cycling - I'm a committed bicycle commuter.
