As Director of Corporate Development, I am responsible for driving both the group's strategic growth and its financial leadership on a global scale. I lead high-impact corporate development initiatives, including market entry, partnerships, and M&A, while also overseeing all aspects of Mitrade’s financial operations to ensure sustainable, compliant, and profitable growth.

Head of Operations, Malaysia

Livspace is Asia’s largest and fastest-growing omni-channel home interiors and renovation platform. Using its proprietary technology, Livspace provides a one-stop renovation solution for homeowners — from design to managed last mile fulfilment for all rooms in a home. The platform has organised a fragmented industry, bringing together designers, brands, manufacturers and contractors to enable an eCommerce-like trusted and predictable experience. Livspace currently serves Singapore and Malaysia, KSA in the Middle East as well as 30 metro and non-metro areas in India. Livspace has showcased phenomenal growth since its launch, having delivered over 125,000 rooms and selling over 7.5 million SKUs through its platform. The company has raised around USD 450 million in capital from some of the top global investors including KKR, Ingka Group Investments (part of largest IKEA retailer Ingka Group), TPG Growth, Goldman Sachs, Kharis Capital, Venturi Partners, FFP (Peugeot Group’s Holding Company), EDBI, Bessemer Venture Partners, Jungle Ventures, Helion Ventures and UC-RNT.

As Manager, Finance Operations, I was responsible for managing the organization’s entire finance operations. This involved overseeing financial governance, cash flow management, and compliance to ensure alignment with statutory and operational requirements. I played a pivotal role in driving strategic financial decisions, enabling Sport Singapore to maintain its robust fiscal health and support the nation’s evolving sports landscape. Concurrently, I was appointed as the Board Secretariat of the Vision 2030 Fund, a public charitable trust dedicated to transforming lives and fostering community through sport.

Key achievements include implementing process improvements that streamlined finance operations, resulting in a 20% reduction in processing time for key transactions. As Board Secretariat, I facilitated the disbursement of funds to impactful initiatives, ensuring transparency and compliance with governance standards. My responsibilities included preparing board materials, managing stakeholder communications, and help ensure the trust’s financial accountability.

Manager, Finance Operations

During my tenure as Section Head for Revenue at Sport Singapore, a statutory board overseeing Singapore’s national sports ecosystem with revenues exceeding S$70 million annually, I was responsible for steering financial strategy and optimizing revenue streams. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, I developed sustainable frameworks to align financial goals with national sports initiatives, ensuring long-term fiscal accountability. By leveraging digital tools and data analytics, I enhanced financial processes and improved forecasting accuracy, fostering efficiency across the organization.

Key achievements include a 15% increase in operating efficiency through the digitization of revenue collection processes and the optimization of the revenue collections process across facilities. I introduced robust reporting mechanisms to track performance and developed partnerships that contributed to diversified income sources. My responsibilities extended to overseeing strategic planning, revenue analysis, and compliance with governance standards, enabling SportSG to achieve its mission of building a cohesive and active sporting community.
