- Chaired a senior executive board comprising Heads of Engineering, Training, Operations, Logistics and HR, making strategic decisions and providing direction and guidance to each departmental head in an organisation of over 300 people.  
- Keynote UK speaker at the Seoul Rotary Wing Symposium 17 to over 200 international corporate, senior military and political delegates
- Providing clear objectives and focus for each head allowing them to manage with autonomy.
- Responsible for 8 direct and almost 300 indirect reports, management of assets worth in excess of £500m and a travel budget of £100k per year.  
- Led and directed the implementation of a major UK Government transformational change programme (£750m) including the move to completely digital technologies
- High level engagement and relationship building across Government and internationally to deliver against the UK prosperity agenda.  Resources prioritised for maximum output and decisions justified at the highest levels.
- Influenced senior Stakeholders and secured resources for critical operational work against a backdrop of increased financial constraint and severe austerity.
- Led the successful relocation of over 300 personnel and £500m worth of assets, several days ahead of schedule achieving savings of c£5m in potentially lost output

- Led the implementation of a major Defence operational equipment programme (£750m), introducing a new aircraft into service, overseeing the execution of the programme from early conception to full operating capabilities and establishing the training and equipment support requirements for over 500 colleagues

Commanding Officer (CEO) 700(W) Naval Air Squadron

- Led and managed all Operations aspects of a busy and fully operational Royal Navy Aircraft Carrier, with a Headcount of c1100, ranging from immediate execution to long term planning.
- Responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for all operational planning and output, ensuring coherence with other vital elements of the wider organisation and a deep appreciation of the interdependencies therein.
- Planned, organised and facilitated the first Army Aviation operations to have taken place from a ship.  This had never been done before and required innovation, influencing, cultural awareness and intricate planning.
