With a foundation in analytical skills and financial risk, I've been instrumental in driving strategic business development initiatives. My expertise in product development underpins the robust growth strategies we've executed, reflecting a steadfast dedication to advancing the trade credit sector.

Super excited to share that I’ve joined Bondaval as Group Chief Commercial Underwriting Officer.

When I first met Tom Powell and the team in 2023, it was immediately obvious this wasn’t just another insurtech. Half the company are engineers, and under Tom’s leadership they’ve brought together world-class credit and tech talent to build a genuinely new operating system for credit risk — completely reimagining how credit is assessed, underwritten, and managed in real time.

In a world being reshaped by AI and technology, Bondaval is at the forefront, and the ambition here is off the charts. Thrilled to be on board.

Next week we launch our strategic partnership with Swiss Re in London — hope to see many of you there. January brings broker sessions on the partnership, our next tech releases, and new teams going live in Germany and the U.S. (more jurisdictions coming soon).

After 12 brilliant years at Markel International it was time for a new challenge. Incredibly proud of what we built together and what Markel International continues to achieve. Massive thank-you to the team for their trust, and especially to Carl Titterton for his constant backing of me as we drove growth. If you ever get the opportunity to join Markel — do it. It’s a genuinely special place.

(And yes, to everyone who said “enjoy the 6 months off”… my wife has confirmed domestic peace requires me back in full-time employment 😂)
