• Mainly involve in radar imaging for airborne and space-borne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) - from waveform design, generation, technical studies to image reconstruction
• Operates the National Instruments Millimeter-Wave Radar during trials to collect data, form images and thereafter perform various algorithm for analysis (details classified)
• Participates in DSO flagship SAR satellite (i.e. NeuSAR) orbit planning, power budget determination, Launch and Early Orbit phase (LEOP) analysis and In-Orbit test (IOT) deployment and specifications verification process
• Develops anomaly detection models using both conventional entropy based and deep learning inspired Adversarial AutoEncoder (AAE) methods

• Interned in the Sensor's division on a project called 'Active detection of human through walls'
• Implemented an optimization algorithm called the Goertzel algorithm in LabView and Octave (details classified)
• Implemented a Time-Series Classification neural network model in Python for pattern recognition (details classified)
• Given an opportunity to present the project to the CEO and board of directors, and afterwards awarded with the SchOlarship for Aspiring Researchers (SOAR) scholarship with DSO

• Programs a Sort-and-Search algorithm in Python with Dr. Duan Rubin to filter out 100 URLs for a coding competition (under the Institute of High Performance Computing)
• Familiarise with the Python language and the usage of MongoDB, a document-oriented database programme, in order to complete higher level tasks
• Awarded A*STAR Science Award (JC) concurrently

Equipped with various experiences from the sciences (engineering, programming, physics) to the arts (music, business, entrepreneurship), Simon hopes to bring value to the work he do. 

He has experience working with web and mobile development, state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and computational simulation using tools like Python, MATLAB and LabView.

He is also highly adaptable and capable of learning fast. Moreover, being a team player and leader at different occasions, he will rise up to the various positions given.
