Account Manager

Informing and consulting accommodation partners in regards to their business performance, market opportunities and industry trends. Informing and advising them about how to meet the demands of the visitors on the Booking.com website. Empowering partners on how to use the system, tools and available products of Booking.com BV with the goal of optimizing their performance on the platform and creating an amazing experience for Booking.com’s customers. 

Tasks:
- Day-to-day pro-active communication with partners in Slovenia region by telephone, by internal messaging and in person to assist with the development of the business.
- Providing support to properties or Booking.com in building the webpage for accommodations. Delivering trainings by phone on how to use extranet and rates & availability system.
- Maintaining property information on the Booking.com website.
- Advise accommodation partners regarding their webpages on the Booking.com website and how they can amend data with respect to supply, availability, specials and promotions. 
- Providing properties with information and advice, including follow ups.
- Building productive relationships with partners to ensure that they offer the best availability and rate structure.
- First point of contact for key local accommodation partners, answering questions and queries, taking action as needed.
- Preparation of market visits, operational planning and projects. 
- Support to Customer Service, assisting in additional tasks and projects when needed.
- Conduct daily/weekly rate and availability checks on various platforms.
- Participation in weekly team learning.

Account Executive

Providing support to new and existing accommodation partners, contacting, informing and advising them about how to meet the demands of the visitors on the Booking.com website. 

Tasks:
- Liaison person for hotels to contact when they have questions and the Account Managers are unavailable;
- Providing support to hotels or Booking.com BV in building the webpage for hotels and/or maintaining hotel information on the Booking.com website;
- Verify that the website has accurate information on hotels and pictures of newly registered hotels;
- Delivering training to new hotels on how to use Booking.com’s extranet and rates & availability system;
- Advise hotels regarding their webpages on the Booking.com website and how they can amend data with respect to supply, availability, specials, promotions;
- Providing hotels with information and advice, including follow-ups;
- Looking after IT/administrative related tasks;
- In consultation with the Account Managers, provide information support to Booking.com for new hotels;
- Liaise with hotels to ensure information is up to date;
- Check statistics in the control room and follow up;
- Support Customer Service, assisting in additional tasks and projects when needed.

I organized work process in a hotel restaurant and lobby bar, including work process on events, organized in the hotel. I worked as a waitress for a breakfast and also for a daily lunches, a la carte offer and events. I helped to serve drinks in lobby bar. In addition I was responsible for purchasing process for restaurant and partially for kitchen. I worked with suppliers, trying to get the most favorable offers and also suppliers themselves. I was responsible for restaurant marketing, social networks (restaurant), hotel website (restaurant) etc. In co-operation with a chef of the kitchen I helped with the menu offers. I was responsible for service quality in hotel restaurant, recruitment of new employees, teaching and motivating them.

I was working as a receptionist in one of the most famous hostels in Ljubljana. My work included accepting end editing all kind of reservations (online, e-mail, telephone and personal), making group bookings, check-in and check-out of guests, providing tourist information about Ljubljana, Slovenia and Europe. I was a guide around the famous hostel. I dealt with proceeding costumers’ complaints, sale of guided tours, airport shuttles and others hostels services. I helped with organizing trips and events.

I worked in Alibi hostel in mostly in summertime season. We were 3 students who helped running the hostel in the center of Piran. I worked as a receptionist (check-in, check-out, reservations, providing tourist information etc.) and as well as cleaning lady, maid, entertainer, etc... In Alibi hostel I met many times with crisis situations and I've learned how to deal with them.

I was working as a student in Tourist information office in my hometown, Ribnica. In the same place, there was a museum shop with local woodenware products. The shop was rewarded with Sejalec reward, which is a reward for the innovation in tourism.
