I have spent 20 years in Recruitment after starting out my career with SThree in 2004. Since 2008 I been involved with building 3 businesses from scratch in the Engineering, MedTech and broader Technology space both in the UK, EU and USA. I have developed a keen interest in what I define as 'Sales Ops' - enabling frontline sales teams to sell more efficiently and effectively by providing GTM strategic direction and reducing friction in the sales process. Sales-Ops incorporates technology, MIS/reporting, sales process optimisation, customer experience, training, marketing, MIS/Reporting and productisation of services. I am a big believer in "HOW we do..... what we do" in recruitment is a key element to being able to scale a business. Outside of the people in your business, the HOW is what your customers experience and ultimately what sets you apart. Some of my achievements include: 🏆 Top Rookie in Yr1 at Huxley getting to £8k WGP on a Contract Desk 🏆 Built The Engineering Team at Austin Fraser from a single seat to 32 heads - 20 Perm and 12 Contract running £50kWGP and £300k/month Perm 🏆 Lead Austin Frasers UK Office across IT and Engineering approx 60 heads - 10 Managers and £850k NFI per month. I also mentored and developed the Leaders for our German and US Offices 🏆 Lead Austin Fraser UK to 3 consecutive Awards in the top 20 of the Sunday Times Best 100 Small Companies to Work. 🏆 Built Vado MedTech under the SourceChain Group from 1 head to 12 heads in 9 months and to £100k NFI per month in just 3 months 🏆 Personally opened and developed 4 individual client accounts from 0 to over £1m NFI within 12 months across the UK and US. 🏆 Consulted with over 50 mid size Recruitment firms within the Bullhorn ecosystem on technology optimisation, workflows, custom UI's, best practice, reporting, automation and MIS/BI. A hands on billing leader and team builder with a keen eye for refining what success looks like in multiple niche markets. I thrive around others in recruitment, but enjoy deep strategic work in isolation.
