❤️ I love building things and go from zero to one. 📚 I am, like, really curious: I am an engineer-turned-sales-guy-turned-marketing-guy. 🪄 Why I do marketing: marketing is the highest-leverage activity in any business. Effective marketing can have an outsized impact on growth, profitability, and the overall success of any company – much larger than any other function (prove me wrong). 📈 What is growth marketing? Growth marketing is an approach to marketing that focuses on achieving sustainable and scalable business growth. It is never about "growth hacking" and always about scalable growth. 🌎 In an ideal world, every marketing role would be a "growth" role. In reality, this is not true. More often than not, marketing teams end up losing focus. Some examples I have come across more than once: 👉 social media managers whose goal is to post on LinkedIn "at least three times per week" (that should never be the goal) 👉 brand marketers who still think that guerrilla marketing is a cool idea in 2023 (and maybe it is!) 👉 middle managers whose job is to have alignment meetings and keep Asana updated. 💡 Let me be clear: this is never their fault, not in a million years. This usually happens when the organization is not aligned on what really matters – that's right, growth! So, even though I don't think it's necessary to specify that my job and main focus is to growth a business, that's what I usually do. I am a growth marketer. 👋 Want to nerd out on marketing?
