I’ve been avoiding networking events.


So I started small. 


Believe it or not:

🥹I get socially overwhelmed
🥹I get anxious meeting groups of new people
🥹I talk a lot of 💩 when i’m nervous


So it can take a lot for someone like me, to throw themselves in the deep end. 

But now i’ve made a deeper connection with someone who is nothing less than AMAZING 🥰


There are benefits of meeting people 1 on 1 which has allowed me to grow 📈


But now its time to challenge myself and take another step…

1.  Repeating exactly what was said in the post…
2. “I agree!”
3. “So true! Great share”

It’s not valuable, it’s actually pretty lazy 😬

Focus on ADDING too the post.

I did something forbidden 2 days ago. 



Disagree on a post 🫣 


Instantly I recieved a stern response (in my eyes) and started to overthink. 

😫Should I delete the comment?
😫Should I find a way to agree?


It really set me off for a good 10 minutes 🕰️ 


Then when my high came down, I realised that im not here to sit on the fence. 


I’m here to be me 🗣️


& with that disagreeing comment, you know more about what I stand for. 

The right people will be stood beside me. 

The wrong people will hop on a plane far far away ✈️ 

And that’s ok! 


Don’t compromise what you believe in for the sake of the comment being approved.

Being “different” in your social media marketing is NOT:



😑Dismissing your brand voice to be understood
😑Ignoring your brand values to get noticed
😑Being rude for “laughs” 

So HOW can you be different?

🤯Look into your USP and USE IT 
🤯Utilise that “weird” perk your brand has
🤯Unpopular opinion? Voice it


There is a SEA of competition out there and it’s difficult - I get it. 


But stay true to what you are and ✖️ that by 10!

Here’s how I handle negative comments 💬




1. I start to feel defensive
2. I remember people are entitiled to their opinion
3. I respond respectfully whilst staying true to myself. 


As someone building their personal brand, you will read something you don’t like atleast once.


HOW you handle it matters. 

Be respectful, but don’t compromise yourself. 

You never know what potential client is watching 👀

Don’t know who your target audience is? 





Thats OK. Not everybody does☕️ 

Ask yourself these questions to get some clarity:

💭What stage is my IDEAL audience at in their life? 
💭What TYPE of person would need this? 
💭How do they best RECEIVE information? 


The more you know. The easier it gets 🧘‍♀️

Ofcourse, there are more things to dissect but i’d be here forever and …
