Head of Business Operations

Brighter Consultancy was founded on the concept that being supported by a consulting firm should be affordable, effective and provide lasting solutions without continued cost. We deliver across projects in Actuarial, Change Management, Technology, Finance, IT, Financial Crime Risk and Compliance.

I support Business Operations, Recruitment Operations and Business Process Change at management level in addition to working with an exceptionally talented team of Management Consultants across Cloud technology, Data, Insurance, Actuarial and Finance sectors.

Operations Consultant

EMIS

Built and enhanced a great Talent Acquisition Team, refreshed and improved recruitment process, added DE&I and ND actions to recruitment process, delivered recruitment packs, interview packs and enhanced onboarding and integration process into the business for new starters. 

Built manager-packs to support new hires settling into EMIS and initiated manager training projects to ensure uniform onboarding across the group. 

Assisting in building Employer of Choice, Employer Brand and Reward profiles within EMIS and developed more relevant communications around these for internal/external visibility.

Launched attendance at Leeds Digital Festivals and Careers festivals and supported Early Careers in developing new initiatives where they had lapsed. Lay the foundations for a strong social media and brand presence for the business as well as began the process of redesigning the careers website.

Hiscox

I was responsible for hiring IT professionals across the incredible business that is Hiscox Insurance.

My role included managing technology talent attraction, provision and pipelining across UK, Lisbon and occasionally Bermuda offices as well as working with the business teams to develop a strategy of attraction, collaboration with local groups and technology talent collectives.

Day to day stakeholder communication and management as well as IT/Business translation and building the profile of Hiscox as an employer of choice.

IQ Retail was a staffing business focused entirely on delivering niche IT and Business Change resource to the eCommerce and Retail sector. 

IQ Retail was a subsidiary of The InterQuest Group. My role was to supply Contract and Permanent resource to my clients with the right blend of technical, cultural and industry competencies to Retail/eCommerce companies of all sizes.

This role was transferred to London - I remained to work with InterQuest North in Harrogate

Delivered Event services for rock concerts, city festivals and private parties around the North West UK
