I've stayed quiet about this for 3+ years... But after getting promoted while doing "too many things"?
Yeah, we need to talk about this WEIRD advice 🤧

For a while, I've been getting advices like:

→ "Simran, you're too young to handle sales, marketing AND ops" 
(But... what if I LIKE doing all three???)

→ "You should focus on ONE thing if you want to be taken seriously" 
(Sir... who said I'm not being taken seriously?)

→ "Jack of all trades, master of none hmmm" 
(Who decided there's only ONE lane I'm allowed to drive in???!!!)

And because I was a newbie when I started... 
I actually believed them....

I tried to "stay in my lane." And I was MISERABLE 🤧

So I'm gonna finally say it:

Specialization is fine. It's valuable.

But telling someone they can't explore multiple interests? 

In 2026???

Dude, you seriously need an upgrade😌

I don't know you. You don't know my work ethic. We just met.
and I'm not here to slow down because you think I'm doing "too much"

I AM here...
