𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀.

We got scammed about 6 years ago.

One of our vendors claimed he ran into customs issues and requested us to pay high penalty fees.

We paid him.

By the time we’d paid him over USD45k, I realized: we were being scammed.

I panicked. I couldn’t understand how someone could do this on purpose.

So I started blaming — the vendor, the world, our luck.

Everything but the truth:
We didn’t do a proper background check.
And that allowed in the wrong people.

I had 2 choices:

1. Waste more time and energy and keep spiraling

2. Accept reality and deal with it

Once I had accepted the situation, something amazing happened.

𝗜 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲.

And with that clarity, I could finally take action — and prevent this from happening again.
