The Social, Cognitive, and Affective Neuroscience (SCAN) Lab at The University of Arizona focuses on understanding the neurobiology behind social and emotional human processes, how these systems are affected by various stresses and the effectiveness of targeted treatments and interventions for restoring optimal functioning
•Collaborated with US Dept. of Defense,  university design, product and research teams to produce research questions and trends
• Responsible for recruitment and screening of participants and developing research study
•Trained clinical research staff on FDA Regulations, ICH Guidelines, and Good Clinical Practices
• Prepared presentations and meetings for FDA submission
•Assisted in monitoring and evaluating the appropriateness of facility quality control plans and practices
•Conducted multiple neuro-psychological assessments such as RBANS, MMNE, WASI-II and CVLT on all of the incoming participants. 
• Generated insights using questionnaires, surveys, psychological assessments and quantitative research methods to influence product and design teams for implementation

Clinical Research Project Manager

The Arizona Human Memory Neuropsychology Lab focused on individuals with memory disorders, primarily Alzheimer's, along with cognitively normal younger and older adults. The lab focused on understanding autobiographical memory and how it can be used as an indicator of cognitive decline.

•	Planned the recruitment of 500 Alzheimer’s patients along with 500 healthy individuals to decipher how autobiographical memory can be used as an indicator of cognitive decline. 
 •	Conducted research using psychological assessments, interviews, surveys to investigate user behavior and improve product strategy; findings used to improve study design for applied products and increase research grant by 50%
 •	Assisted with lab-based usability studies and clinical data studies on neuropsychological topics using user centered design methods
•	Defined goals and measures for researching user behavior in different environments
•	Coached 5 research assistants, led weekly and monthly project meetings and effectively allocated the spending’s related to the recruitment of participants. 
•.    Redesigned the technique used for data collection which led to an 85% improvement in the quality of data achieved and reduced the time spent with participant by 50% 
•	Maintained paperwork, databases, and procedures for data entry

Save the Cord Foundation - Cord Blood Education from a 501c3 non-profit

This foundation was established to promote the benefits of the life saving benefits of cord blood.
As an intern my mission was to promote this organization and stem-cell research along with raising awareness among expectant parents, students, and young adults through presentations at medical conferences and events, campus clubs, prenatal organizations and social media.

Mayo Clinic 

Under the supervision of Dr. Dawn Coletta, I worked as a research intern and focused on identifying and characterizing genes that were directly correlated with diseases such as type I and type II diabetes, obesity and insulin resistance syndrome. The isolated genes were then used as an objective for therapeutic inventions and lead to the improvement of these metabolic diseases.

With a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University, I combine my academic knowledge and my passion for improving people's well-being and outcomes through digital interventions.

I have extensive experience in clinical research, project management, and data analysis, working with various organizations such as Happy Health, Click Therapeutics, and Mayo Clinic. I leverage these skills to understand the needs and behaviors of users, to design and test products that are evidence-based and user-centric, and to measure and optimize their impact. As part of a multidisciplinary team at atai, I contribute to transforming the digital health and mental health space by focusing on the why and how behind people's actions.
