Growing into a leader thanks to many years of experience in asset management operations and products, I have acquired a wide array of technical and regulatory reference points and competencies. These enable an understanding of the end-to-end investment management process from both a client and service provider perspective. The competencies and areas of work where I have the most significant depth of experience are: - leading and managing diverse people & teams (globally, in person and remotely) - building and fostering relationships with key stakeholders and partners (globally, internally within the organization, as well as within the industry) - structuring and overseeing operational teams and processes - guiding, leading and/or supporting product development and ongoing reviews - service provider selection and ongoing relationship and performance management - contributing to positive client relationships through servicing skills & situational adaptation - understanding the impacts of regulatory change and facilitating change management thereof My recent achievements include: - Successfully informing & engaging regulators to consider the impacts of the North America change to listed security settlement from T+2 to T+1, and how further support could be provided to Europe-domiciled funds' asset managers in navigating this change in its aftermath. This was a collective effort through participation in industry working groups and collaboration with the relevant coordinators of those bodies and industry peers. - Inspiring & leading the introduction of the first external (vendor-managed) blockchain-based technology solution into the operating environment of Capital Group. - Initiating, structuring and co-leading the target operating model review for the team responsible for product data & regulatory document management & dissemination, including successfully getting internal buy-in to contract the services of an external vendor to enhance operational scale and risk management.
