For 10 years, I failed to land any managerial roles. I was struggling to prove that I am good at managing people. When interviewing for management positions, the interviewers always offered me individual contributor roles. I started reading and writing, from personal growth to leadership. One day, I decided to land a managerial job at the only company that I desired. I joined Mindvalley as a Technical Lead. In three years, I became an engineering manager, the first manager who manages two teams, and eventually led the team that contributed to the key success of the company.
