- Set up an innovation lab on smart cities from scratch in order to create new businesses opportunities by focusing customer-centric business models with strong value proposition using disruptive technologies and innovative research
- Accountable for overall planning, budgeting, controlling of interdisciplinary projects, teams and topics
- Coordinate research-based innovative digital products and services covering: 
 • Open Data and Analytics to predict Air Quality and Urban heat Island in cities, etc. 
 • Immersive Visualization using AR/VR  
 • Complex System Modelling (using SD/ABM) e.g. to simulate EV-Charging stations
 • Data modelling and visualization (Lidar point cloud, RDF based Semantic data)
 • Private cloud infrastructure based on OpenShift, Docker containers
 • Collaborate with national and international research centers, universities, local authorities and subcontractors to strengthen innovation network
- Lead a passionate team (> 10 members) of researchers, developers and interns

Head of Smart City Lab

- Responsible for the short & long term research & development of the project
- Establish strong relationship with other international departments, business units and executives to ensure the alignment of the project with EDF group's Smart City strategy
- Support in creating business offers (within the group) and commercial contracts (outside of group)
- Participate in international exhibitions as a technical sales expert
- Manage an international team (>10 persons) of developers, researchers and sub-contractor

Senior Project Manager, EDF 3D City Simulation Platform - a digital twin for urban energy planning

- Submission and acquisition of public and industry funded projects related to smart and sustainable cities topics
- Responsible for budget planning & controlling, coordination and timely deliverables of the two public funded projects: 
 • Resource Urbanisms project on dynamic modelling of building energy needs in high income Asian Cities 
 • Reallabor131 project on developing spatial energy concepts for Karlsruhe Oststadt
- Led the innovative model & tool development activities on the topics around mobility, accessibility, attractiveness, PV potential, etc. within the corporate funded project Smart services for cities
- Coordinated teams of around 15 members

Project Manager, Smart and Sustainable Cities

Coordinated and worked in public & industry funded projects, such as: 
- WP leader of the Biomass Value Chain Modelling (BVCM) project in the UK for strategic development of the bioenergy value chain from the 2010s to the 2050s. Coordinate a team of 12 members from E4Tech, Forest Research, Imperial College London, Agra Ceas, Rothamstead Research, University of Southampton and EIFER.
- WP leader of the Energy from Waste project to assess the waste resources in the UK and to evaluate how suitable wastes can be most effectively used to produce energy. Coordinate a team of 3 members from Cranfield University and EIFER.
- Task leader of the Macro level Distributed Energy (Macro DE) project across the UK to accelerate the development of appropriate DE technology by 2020. Lead the development of database, modelling and mapping of the electricity and heating energy needs in the residential and tertiary buildings in the UK with University of Manchester, EDF Energy, AECOM, Caterpillar and EIFER.
- Modelling of district heating network and urban energy systems in Austria and Germany
- Modelling of Urban Heat Islands to assess the quality of life in some selected cities in France
- Risk and vulnerability assessment of the forest resources due to extreme storms in Germany

Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT)

- Responsible for GIS activities in the Institute.
- Contribute to industry funded projects such as Solar radiance and photovoltaic potential assessment on 3D urban objects, Urban dynamics, Renewable-based neighborhood heating systems, Climate change impacts on urban planning, Web server development for bio-energy atlas
- Coordinate a task in European Commission funded project ELIOS - Liability and insurance regimes in the construction sector with CSTB and EIFER

GIS Expert and Research Scientist

- Worked in the project Risk Map Germany on the topics Man-made hazards (anthropogenic disasters) and Synopsis of natural hazards with several institutes (IFB, IIP, IMK, IMB, IFH) at the University of Karlsruhe (TH), GeoForschungsZentrum (GFZ) Potsdam and Center for Disaster and Risk Reduction Technology (CEDIM)
