•	Lead all aspects of Payroll processing (semi-monthly and bi-weekly), while both managing end to end Payroll processing and training new employees, including Payroll Leads and Managers, on utilizing various Payroll systems (Ceridian, UltiPro, Tenrox), calculating/processing gross-to-net pay, overseas wires, international living allowances, garnishment orders, time sheet hours/rates, one-time payments, benefits reimbursements, severance, etc. for exempt and non-exempt employees.

•	Provided guidance and assistance to the Payroll Team on all tasks, including processing of extensively manual bi-weekly Payroll, requiring strong Excel and organizational skills, and attention to detail, for over 1,000+ employees; international and multi-state, while ensuring the completeness and accuracy of Payroll, including review of new hires, terminations, transfers, vacation payouts, master-data changes against source documents, timecards, all types of leave tracking, bonuses, Payroll deductions, and Payroll invoice reconciliation.

•	Maintained, updated, and communicated comprehensive step-by-step Payroll guide/manual, to both ensure compliance in day-to-day Payroll processing, and to be used for training purposes for all pre-Payroll, processing Payroll, and post-payroll task.

•	Identified areas for improvement, automation, or gaps in efficiency, testing and implementing new processes.

Lead Associate, Payroll 

•      Processed full cycle semi-monthly, extensively manual Payroll, with heavy dependance on advanced Excel skills for 1,000+ international and multi-state employees (US, Expatriates, Third Country Nationals) 

•	Utilized advanced Excel skills to monitor garnishments and class overpayments, time off accounts, create ad-hoc and scheduled business analytics reports, generated from Payroll and Timekeeping software.

•	Liaised with Treasury department to manage ACHs, lead overseas wire transfer process to international employees, and stop or reverse payments.

•	Partnered with Award Managers, to provide general ledger and labor distribution split, to be used for donor reporting.

•	Collaborate with Third-Party Tax Specialist in ensuring state laws are followed while managing Payroll related tax registration, paying employees in various states, preparing tax documents, and working on workers compensation audits.

•	Served as point of contact and provided exceptional customer service, for employees and internal and external auditors inquiries, pertaining to employee wage calculations, ACH requests, adjustments, timesheets, W-2s, direct deposit, reclasses, paystubs, and other payroll related questions and concerns.

•	Researched and setup garnishments, answered all follow-up questions from employees and attorneys.
