I'm a firm believer in the autonomous strength of people. Every person is invited to develop to be himself. In society, people are confronted with a lot of normative standards, some explicit, some implicit; like how a good mother, a good employee or a social friend should be. I hear and sense with the people I meet and coach that this leads to people aspiring to be someone else than they essentially are. It makes no sense to change people or tell them to develop in a direction that doesn't fit their personality. This leads to mediocre results, loss of energy and deformation and as a consequence to loss of happiness and quality of life. It's my deep belief that every person should invest in developing himself or herself from the core of his talents, personality and energy. I enjoy speaking with people and helping them find themselves, accepting who they are, getting rid of the pressuring norms and using the freed up mental space to add joy to themselves and the people surrounding them. As a coach, I feel it as my mission to help people in this process of finding, defining and accepting themselves fully. In my conversations, I assist people to make their own choices, to find the courage to make the right decisions and to act and develop according to their personal profile, their values and unique path in life. People give me the feedback that my coaching organises their thoughts, cleans up their head and soul and creates new energy and space to explore themselves and invest in their development. I feel that growing to be yourself is a universal mission. And even more so for people who are responsible for the wellbeing of other people - like parents, teachers, coaches, managers and caretakers - have to set and live the right example and pass this on to the ones they are responsible for. For me personally, this is also my guiding principle, not only as a coach but especially as a mother, creating the circumstances to let each of my 4 kids grow up to who they are.
