Monitor is currently the independent regulator for NHS Foundation Trusts. The Health and Social Care Act (2012) establishes Monitor as the sector regulator for health from 1 April 2013 with a primary duty to protect and promote the interests of people using health care services. The transition to this new duty requires a major change programme covering expansion of the workforce, a full organisational restructure and significant changes to ways of working to support a new provider licensing regime.

I am part of the Process & Operations team working on Business and Process Improvement Programme as a Business Process Analyst.
