I'm Sonja [pronounced almost like Sonia] 👋 I specialize in helping organizations and companies communicate better through data visualizations, maps, and illustrations. In a world full of noise, I'm here to design messages that need to cut through and be seen. I do think that communication should be easy - especially when design is involved. ✨ WHERE I INTRODUCE CREATIVE COMMUNICATION: 1 - INTERNAL COMMUNICATION: by designing a presentation, I helped a Parisian hotel real estate agency sell a hotel worth 8 million euros. Data and infographics don't need to be boring. 2 - SHOWING WHAT DATA ACTUALLY MEANS: Many of us have experienced presentations where we are bombarded with endless numbers and statistics, but nothing seems to stick. I pride myself on designing presentations that are interesting, smart and fun to watch. 3 - DELIGHTING A CLIENT: we all know that it's not easy to delight a client these days - everything seems to be “old news". My CUSTOM MADE MAPS have been a huge success with LUXURY HOTEL guests - they help them understand the place better and give them something pretty to take home. 4- SHOWING THAT YOU CARE: I care about my clients and people I work with care about theirs: from entertaining and smart-designed presentations and pitch decks to teabags for five stars hotels. Her creativity combined with professionalism and technical knowledge was what we were looking for and what we found in Sonja."🔸 Jessica Jeacle, Fat Tire Tours A BIT ABOUT ME 🎤 I switch between French, English, and Serbian a couple of times per hour. 📚 I read four pages of book every day for the last 8 years 🫖 I drink a lot of fine tea 🗼 I have been up the Eiffel Tower over 700 times In the first 26 years of my life, I lived in four countries without changing my street. One of my favorite possessions as a kid was my dad's atlas from 1969. My geography professor said that I had to get a new one for her class "as things have changed" 🗺️ I was surprised and mesmerized by maps ever since. I do believe that all we know about the world, all that data, needs to be communicated in a better - and more gentle - way in order for people to listen.
