- Led product and business development at Godot, a content marketing firm. Grew company from scratch to serving 10,000+ global customers, leading a 30+ member team

- Built and successfully scaled multiple products at Godot, including: 	

       *Freelancer marketplace and content platform:  A freelance platform for content creators and global customers supporting workflow, in-app messaging, task dispatching, invoicing, and rating. The platform is central to Godot’s business.
       *Wildr:   A travel app for finding truly in-the-nature holiday accommodation near you or a destination - launched Sep 2018. The app uses machine learning to give a nature score for every hotel or lodge based on satellite imagery and and a variety of other factors. 

- Developed product vision, outlined features, defined positioning & messaging, executed successful launches, collected user feedback,  A/B tested and iterated features for conversion.

- Marketed products through a mix of digital, content and inbound marketing (including SEO, email marketing), paid marketing (including Google and Facebook Ads), partnerships and PR. 

- Featured in AdWeek, Pando.com, CMO.com and other leading publications as a key industry expert

- Established a strong network with VCs and entrepreneurs in the technology space. Partnered with several startups and large companies. Panelist and partner in several startup events.

- Led product development and growth at DrumUp working with cross-functional teams. DrumUp is a machine-learning based, personalized content recommendation and social publishing app. It processes 1M+ stories a day and uses NLP, topic modeling, and localization to build a user’s news feed.

- Laid down the vision for the product, defined feature requirements and prioritization, outlined UI/UX for web, Android and iOS, and helped fine-tune user on-boarding and critical journeys

- Executed a successful go-to-market strategy with DrumUp featured on Adweek, Forbes, The Next Web and KSL TV

- Led cross-functional team (engineering, UX, and marketing) to keep product development on track and meet the growth goals

- Closely monitored customer feedback and metrics to drive product improvements

- Drove marketing efforts and growth hacking, through a mix of partnerships, integrations, content marketing (including social media, SEO, influencer and email marketing), and PR

- Developed and rolled-out monetization strategy for business users

- Led and saw through successful acquisition of the rapidly growing product from the initial-interest discussions, complete due-diligence, agreement negotiation/execution to successful transition

- Drove feature development for a big data visualization product. Set up a 30-member team of software engineers and analysts for the product, working closely with them to identify gaps and analyze bugs

- Created targeted online marketing strategies and loyalty programs for different customer segments to improve customer acquisition and retention metrics for a large US credit card company

- Built and deployed predictive models using data analytics to estimate lifetime value of each individual customer for a consumer finance company

- Assessed target companies for investment and acquisition opportunities for private equity firms in the US across various sectors including retail, financial services, data analytics and chemicals

- Led a team to develop new website content and marketing collateral for all key practice areas. Also set up a core team to manage, update and add to the online collateral repository on an on-going basis
