Customer Success Manager

I worked with CIOs and CISOs from Forbes 500 organizations to mitigate their endpoint security risk. By closely working with Absolute's product, sales, and technical teams, I was the point of contact for my customers. I managed a 3M+ portfolio. 

My role as a Customer Success Manager allows me to create proactive solutions that meet the needs of my clients and help them succeed. My responsibilities constantly change depending on the needs of different clients, and I need to adapt quickly to deliver an excellent customer experience. I work to encourage customer advocacy by surpassing the expectations of clients and building trust. 

User enablement is another important responsibility that is necessary for any product to be utilized fully by customers and requires me to convey myself in a way that is clear and concise. A thorough understanding of the product is very important to be able to answer customer questions, while also being able to delegate resources in order to best utilize the time of the customer. 

I strive to be proactive instead of reactive, which requires diligent organization and the ability to learn my customer's internal processes, which allows me to then cater directly to their needs.

The projects I worked on at my part-time position at the Government Affairs department required substantial skills in collaboration, teamwork, presentation, and writing. A good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry was key and was a part of my job to stay up to date with some of the latest innovations in this field. I worked both with the public and private sectors and collaborated closely with various industry actors in order to meet department goals. I managed and worked on various projects both independently and with my colleagues which I thoroughly enjoyed. I built upon prior experience on how to collaborate with my team in order to produce high-quality work. This experience coincided well with my prior experience at an embassy as I got a deeper understanding in how public + private ventures function from both sides.

Government Affairs Assistant

I assisted my department with their workload and was responsible for a variety of different tasks that required a substantial amount of skill in communication, writing, research, networking, and organisation. I worked for the Environmental Science Technology and Health (ESTH) state department which means worked mainly with events and tasks that related to these fields. This internship allowed me to experience how an embassy is run first-hand, experienced how public+private ventures are instigated, and learned how to effectively network and communicate with senior officials.

I wrote weekly fashion articles for fashion boutique JAC, which were posted on their website. I utilized various information outlets in order to write unique articles about all aspects of fashion. Some examples of topics I covered were eco fashion, European cycling, and popular summer music festivals. I worked with other interns to improve and maintain the company’s social media outlets (such as Twitter and Facebook). Through this internship I was taught the business side that is behind social media, and gained experience on how a high-functioning office is run. I was also involved with aiding co-workers with marketing and design jobs for the company.

I have been fortunate to have gotten early career experience in various industries including the US State Department, pharmaceuticals and cybersecurity. During my tenure, I was the youngest non-junior Customer Success Manager at one of the largest Canadian cybersecurity firms, Absolute Software. My portfolio was upwards of $3M.

In cybersecurity I got to see how technology can identify/mitigate risk for IT teams, while making their processes more efficient.

Social entrepreneurship is a passion of mine. I am an Alumni Advisor at League of Innovators (founded by Ryan Holmes) where we focus on democratizing entrepreneurship for Canadian youth.

I'm a Vancouver native but live in Copenhagen, Denmark, where my family is from originally. Travelling is a passion of mine and New Zealand is the next place on my list!
