I am a Legal Officer specializing in migration, refugee protection and human rights issues. I am passionate about social work, humanitarian, security, protection, rights and gender issues. In my current position as Human Rights Officer in the Human Rights Division of UNMISS, I implement the following key human rights promotion and protection activities: investigation, monitoring, reporting, advocacy, capacity building, accountability and Human Rights Due Diligence Policy (HRDDP) risk assessment. I work directly with civilians, IDPs as well as armed groups, including armed youth groups, the regular army, state institutions, civil society, humanitarian partners and other UN agencies. I have served in several structures such as UNMISS, community of Sant'Egidio, Legal and Social Expertise Clinic, NGO Vision Solidaire, Ministry of Justice, UN Resident Coordinator Office in Cameroon and the Observatory of Refugee Camps. I was a Protection and Refugee Status Determination Officer (RSD) at the Governmental Agency for Refugees for more than 4 years. I coordinate all activities related to refugee status determination (reception, registration, interview, assessment, submission of applications and drafting of notifications) and protection issues. I was promoted twice and received a certificate of appreciation. A person in charge of a structure says that I am experienced in the task and show professional qualities. During my academic, associative and professional career, I was able to effectively coordinate projects of protection and reintegration of street children; protection and assistance to migrants; care of asylum seekers and refugees; monitoring, protection, promotion and awareness on human rights. I have proven skills in research, writing, project management, communication, teamwork and professionalism. I am proactive, rigorous, compassionate and adaptable. I participate in social and charitable works sometimes through athletics. I love to learn (MOOC, workshops, Webinar). I give talks on migration, refugees, protection, human rights and RSD. I would like to travel to Africa and southern countries to bring my knowledge and skills and discover its rich cultures. I am available to contribute to positively and sustainably impacting the lives of populations in need.
